I like new toys especially if they work and make my beauty life easier. So when a friend of mine was given the Babyliss big hair drying brush for Christmas and I saw the new shiny hair that she magicked up in an amazingly short time I was impressed. Apparently it mimics the action hairdressers use in Salons when they roll the hair as they brush and dry it. It is only made with one size brush which is a bit big for my shortish hair. However it really helps to give the roots a boost and a lift. If you have long straight hair I would highly recommend it. They are not that expensive on Amazon and there is video to show you how it works and to get you started.

Oh my roots are always totally flat and if I back comb them it looks too retro and done, I really should look into a brush like that. I never leave home without curling my lashes, what a difference it makes.
The brush looks great, but too bad they don't make one for shorter hair with a smaller brush. Young women today don't know how lucky they are with all the hair products there are available. Thirty years ago when I wore my hair long with a fringe there was NOTHING - not even decent hair pins!
A propos of beauty gadgets, could you do a post on your facial Slendertone? I bought a second hand Cleo model a few months ago but haven't had the courage to try it yet (still doing my Eva Fraser though).
Thank you.
Good idea Catherine I will do a post on my Slendertone. It is not as scary as it seems when you first get it once you get used to it. If you are in London and can get to Harrods they will give you a free demo and you can ask questions.
I have been using an eye lash curler since 7th grade and it is my favorite tool. When I don't have time for mascara at least I can wake my eyes up with this!
The brush looks great too.
Will definitely have to look into the brush ... seems the older I get, the flatter my hair gets on top.
